New Student Move-In

Move-In Passes are not needed for new student move-in during Winter Welcome 2018!

Residence halls open for new students at noon on Friday, January 12, 2018. 

New international students can move into their residence halls starting at 8:30am on Thursday, January 11, 2018 for International Student Orientation.  International students should go to the Slutzker Center for International Services at 310 Walnut Place to pick up their key on Thursday.

If you live on campus:

  1. Report directly to your assigned residence hall (if you are living on South Campus, report to 210 Goldstein Student Center on South Campus). Check in begins at noon on Friday, January 12th. You will be able to pick up your key, student ID *(if your picture was sent to Housing prior to your arrival) and receive other important information.
  2. Get settled in your residence hall, unpack etc.
  3. Go to Panasci Lounge in the Schine Student Center on Friday, January 12th between 3pm and 6pm to check-in for Winter Welcome, pick up your copy of the Syracuse Winter Welcome schedule and other important information.
  4. Attend Syracuse Winter Welcome events!

*If you did not email your picture by the deadline, you can get your student ID at the Housing, Meal Plan and ID Card Services Office in 206 Steele Hall.

If you live off campus:

  1. Go to Panasci Lounge in the Schine Student Center on Friday, January 12th between 3pm and 6pm to check-in for Winter Welcome, pick up your copy of the Syracuse Winter Welcome book and other important information.
  2. Report to the Housing, Meal Plan & ID Card Services Office in 206 Steele Hall to get your Student ID card.
  3. Attend Syracuse Winter Welcome events!
