Tuesday Move-In - New for 2017!

An early move-in opportunity is available on Tuesday, August 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at select residence halls. A small staff of volunteers will be available to assist you. Full assistance and move-in at all residence halls is available on Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24.

Wednesday and Thursday Move-In

On Wednesday, August 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, August 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in all new student halls, University personnel and a group of returning student volunteers, affectionately known as the Goon Squad, will assist you as you move into your residence hall.

Move-In Pass

To ensure a smooth arrival and move-in, all new residential students must register for and print a move-in pass. You will need to select a move-in date and shift through the online Move-In Pass system on MySlice.  The Move-In Pass system opens at noon EST on Wednesday, July 19th in MySlice.  (No Move-In Passes will be issued before this date.)  There are a limited number of passes for each date and shift.  Move-In Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you need to move-in on a specific date and time, you will want to register for your Move-In Pass quickly.  For more information about how to download your move-in pass, view the How to dowload a new student Move-In Pass tutorial.

The deadline to print your move-in pass is August 1st at noon EST. After that date students will be automatically assigned a move-in pass.

Early Move-In

If you are participating in a special program requiring you to arrive before Tuesday, August 22 (such as International Student Orientation, a pre-orientation program, athletic team or the marching band) you do not need to download a move-in pass through the Move-In Pass system.  Your pass will be automatically generated and available to print on MySlice.
